We are looking for a Head of Marketing with B2B experience who’ll lead our marketing activities, from brand development, marketing strategy, content creation, advertising and other creative initiatives. You will be focused on developing and raising awareness of the Kitt brand, generating new leads and engaging existing tenants, brokers, agents and landlords within our portfolio.


The Kitt Marketing Team consists of creative, ambitious and driven individuals including a Marketing Executive, Marketing Assistant and Part-time Freelance Copywriter. You will be heading up the team, working with senior management and owning the whole marketing function, improving team efficiency and reporting.


The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping to bring the best out of the team, whilst also not being afraid to get their hands dirty.


Job description:

Responsibilities include developing plans to help establish our brand, structuring and prioritising projects, optimising resources within allocated budgets and setting short-term and long-term goals that generate business.


Ultimately, you will manage our Marketing Team in ways that promote higher profitability and competitiveness.


This includes:


Our Brand - evolving and refining the Kitt brand strategy, identity, messaging and positioning.

  • Development of branding, positioning and core messaging
  • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and boost awareness 
  • Coordinate with Sales team to ensure our brand is understood and communicated throughout the sales process. 


Our Digital Estate - ensuring the Kitt look & feel is executed across all touchpoints, and every channel is optimised for its marketing objective. 

  • Consistency across all channels including sales materials, email campaigns, web pages, press coverage and promotional material
  • Maintain a balance of brand and conversion driving activities across all channels

Our Content - defining a content strategy that will cut through the noise and perform. 


  • Decide what kind of content strategy is required 
  • Develop plan that can be prioritised and executed in a scalable way


Our Assets - plan and control the execution / production of marketing assets. 


  • Crafting strategies and structure for the team to execute on across Paid Digital, Social, Offline, PR Communications and other creative initiatives 
  • Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)


Our Distribution - identify the best channels that ultimately will raise awareness of the Kitt brand and start delivering results  

  • Analyse consumer behaviour, their personas and the right channel mix to meet their 
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share


Our ROI & Planning

  • Preparing and managing budgets for the marketing function
  • Tracking and optimising the performance of marketing assets across the board 
  • Setting, monitoring and reporting on team goals
  • Participate in the quarterly planning of team and company objectives


Key skills and experience:

  • Previous role as Head of Marketing, VP Marketing or an aspiring Marketing Director
  • A proven track record of leading a B2B Marketing team
  • Experience of successfully growing the marketing function within a high-growth startup environment
  • A record of delivering business growth through the focused execution of creative innovation and compelling customer and data-driven solutions to exceed target performance
  • Experience in growing audiences and generating high-quality leads through targeting solutions with efficient and effective campaigns
  • Experience of working closely with a B2B Sales function and generating MQL leads
  • Solid knowledge of web analytics, SEO optimisation and Google Adwords
  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation tools, project management software
  • Experience of brand development, customer journey mapping, segmentation and product marketing
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to set, prioritize and deliver on goals
  • Experience in managing expectations of many key stakeholders both within and outside of the business
  • Analytical and strategic thinker
  • Ability to present and report back to key stakeholders
  • Experience of working within an agency environment delivering on and managing client expectations would be beneficial
  • Experience of agile working and sprints would be beneficial
